Every generation of sports fans has their all-timers. Each generation with a slightly different defining common thread amongst their own greats. However, there remains one eternal truth amongst all great professional (including 2nd and 3rd string) athletes: the undying commitment and will to win. You see, a true champion doesn’t stop when they’re uncomfortable. A true champion doesn’t stop when the chips are stacked against them. A true champion doesn’t stop when the lights get turned off. No, a true champion persists even when they’re told it’s impossible! They laugh in the face of the confident naysayer with pitiful joy!! For the true champion knows their destiny, and they simply resolve to working to make others be able to see it tangibly, never worrying or doubting their vision.
